Patience (WB MF)

So is your patience level being tested too? From the traffic, to the lack of sun, to the rain/sleet/snow... the screaming kids, the appliances not wanting to work, the sales deal getting pushed off over and over...
Are you saying enough already yet?

So true to my own personal existence I demand an action plan to resolve the patience issues in the world. (Now keep in mind this does not mean I am going to solve the problems... merely the patience involved in dealing with them!)

So here goes:

1. When the car in front of you goes too slow... simply slow down to "not infuriate" the car behind you, this way you know you are not alone in attempting to irritate other drivers
2. When the children start whining and screaming, simply whine and scream back - it will off balance them and they will find you annoying and not want to be in the room with you
3. When there is not enough space to park because some brilliant person is taking up two spaces, just park behind the car and take a snooze until the brilliant person comes back. You can then discuss this with them.
4. When calling a company and you are placed on hold, for a short 30 minutes or longer, instead of losing your patience, simply wait for the rep to come on the line and then while they are on the phone have 1/2 conversation with them and anyone else in the room, pretend it is like an acting class.
5. If the computer is running slow, then simply get up and walk over to the person's desk you are trying to send the email to. (really? I had to explain this one?!)
6. If the phone tag, text tag, and email tag attempts to reach someone is pushing your patience, to avoid losing your patience, just do this. Walk away from the technology items and wait for that person to physically come to you.
7. We could do this all day, and you may continue to lose your patience with me.

Now admit it... did you smile at least once? Ok... mission accomplished. I have resolved the patience issue for the day.
