Thoughts from me today...
I have many interests in life, but a big past time that serves as a "stress releaser" is sports... and as a life long Minnesotan, my teams are the Vikings, Twins, and Wild.
Well, today is the first day in 5 days where I will be able to focus on finding a different kind of stress reliever to get rid of the stress, anxiety, and exciting rollercoaster I have experienced over the past few days. See, with the exception of the Wild, the Vike's and playoff Twins have the day off today!)
I can't help but wonder...had the Golden Gophers been able to pull out a W over WI Badgers last Saturday - it would have been like having four layers of icing on the cake.
If you are not a sports fan I challenge you to sit down and watch at least one of these great teams this weekend; not because the state has spent so much money on them (for the most part MN has hardly spent any money on them, with the exception of our QB), not because I suggested it, and not because someone else you are related to or are friends with says to... do it to try it and see the excitement the fans show, the emotion the players and coaches portray, and the physical effort that the players give so much of...
Then ask yourself do you have something in your life you are that passionate about? If not, start exploring new hobbies and interests... having passion for something is a gift, a release, and can bring energy to an otherwise lackluster day.
Have a fantastic day everyone!
