I was asked to write something for a charity event held a couple of years ago. The charity works with an orphanage in Jamaica. This was one of those fun yet touching ones...

I have some questions only a few.
I have a curious mind ~ maybe much like you!
Please stop for a moment and see if you know
The answers to some of my questions below.

How do you know the sun will come up?
Why do the clouds make shapes and then stop?
When the rain falls down ~ where does it go?
& Where does it go when the strong wind blows?

How do the stars get hung in the sky?
Why do my dreams come and go bye-bye?
When does the night decide it is time to sleep?
& Where do the stars go when the sun is out please?

How did the birds know to live in the tree?
Why would that thing sting me… oh yeah, the bee?
When does the grass know when to grow?
Where should the fish go when the lake overflows?

How did the sky get blue and then black?
Why do trees lose their leaves and then they grow back?
When do the birds know it is time to sing?
& Where can I go and see a butterfly’s wing?

How will you give me the answers to these?
Why don’t I know ~ can you help me please?
When will I meet my new mom and dad?
Where will I go and be so very, very glad?

How did I found out that I am so great…?
Why I don’t remember for goodness sake!
When you come see me – maybe I will tell
Where you will be able to find out all is well.
