For all those "children" spreading their wings right now... and to moms holding on ever so tight.

Close your eyes to see the sun
The beauty of the morning or the ending of the day

And wish your nightmares away

Now Open your eyes and pray to God
Your wishes will all come true and your dreams
They will come alive deep within you

Strive to be what your dreams are
For in the end your dreams come out –
In your life or in your death

Close your eyes to remember yesterday and year
For in them you can find a smile, a reason to cry, and a way to learn
Close your eyes and remember the way we used to be –
Now open them and picture the way we should be
Close your eyes once again to see the good in life – often it is hard to find
But if you look within yourself you will see.

Open your eyes and wipe away any of their frowns
Open your eyes to see the love reaching out to you so far
Open your eyes to know how much I care for you in my heart
