To The World

To the world outside of my dreams
I ask a simple question – of quiet serene
Why is it hard to acquire
That love with passion and fire
If I wanted more from life
Simply more than just being a wife
I would make a list and go about
Creating new things to come on out
But I cannot seem to find the desire
To dream all the world’s sires
All I want is what I’ll give
That he and I together live
With love and desire for all of our days
To each and the other in our hearts to stay
True to form of perfect alliance
For heart and soul and love to be
The perfection of our future this to me
